Conseco Medical Insurance ripping off consumers across the USA!

We have been customers of Conseco's medical insurance division (Connecticut National) for a couple of years now. We've heard rumors from insurance brokers that Conseco is wanting to pull out of Colorado but have heard nothing from the company themselves. Now we hear (again, not from the company) that they are intent upon leaving the health insurance industry altogether, yet they continue to accept and even encourage new applications for coverage. This seems highly unethical and immoral. I would advise anyone considering applying for Conseco Medical Insurance to receive assurances that the company will be there for them for the long term, or look elsewhere.

Companies move out of areas all the time. Conseco has not sold major medical insurance in quite some time. But in any case, you are very lucky Conseco never saw your posting, otherwise you could have been held liable for civil liability. Slandering a company is against the law, and you could have been sued for it. Conseco did not "rip you off" just because you heard a RUMOR they wanted to stop selling in insurance in CO.
I used to have Mutual of Omaha medical coverage in Michigan 30 years ago. The company stopped selling medical coverage in Michigan...did they RIP ME OFF? Of course not! They just stopped selling in Michigan.
Take care when slandering a company. It can end up costing you big time.
I work for PMA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Conseco Insurance Company.
