This company called me because I had put information in a data base that I needed health insurance coverage.  They described basic coverage for health and dental coverage and a discount program for vision.  I signed up and made a big mistake by giving them my bank information over the phone.  They started deducting premiums immediately at a cost of $119/month.

Approximately 2 months later I decided to get a health check-up which they said would be covered including blood test.  I submitted a claim following procedures they sent me.  Approximately a month later my doctor's office called and said they had not paid anything.  I called them several times - I could not get a hold of them - always there answering service tells me that someone will call me .  Soon after that I received the diagnostic bill from the place where I had my blood drawn.  Again, I could not get a hold of anyone  Finally someone did call and told me that their claims processing agent "JCE Associates" were not processing claims timely and that they would not be using them anymore since they found out that JCE was not licensed.  They told me to send the bills to an address they gave me.  I followed the instructions VERY carefully - still no payments.  By this time I noticed that Equal health and their Agent "JCE Associates" had each deducted a payment in the same month for premiums.  I called the answering service and they gave me an address/phone where I should request a refund.  Of course, no refund received.  

Finally, I noticed now that they no longer are deducting funds from my account - THEY DROPPED ME? They took One Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty-One Dollars ($1,151.00) for premiums and provided no coverage.  They got away with it - I have no resource to get it back.
