Yes, it is another name change! They may be a subsidary of the original HealthMarkets, but if you look at the web site, there is absolutly no mention of HealthMarkets. None of the executive profiles show any relationship to Healthmarkets, even though Hildebrand is the current CEO of HM, Heller has worked for HM 15+ years, Chandra is also a HM executive. If they are not trying to hide or shield this, then why is this being covered up?
As they begin to become just another insurance broker, they will no longer aggressively market the HM products, as they are not competitive with some of the new products. Without the captive agents forced to sell their products, HM will dry up and go away. Be careful in signing up for coverage or taking a job with HM.
