This insurance company is THE ABSOLUTE WORST case of avoiding payment of claims without a reasonable basis.

They have delayed and unreasonably denied payment on basis of last name being the same as that of the physician, even if there is no relation. There is no mention of this in their policy.

They have used clerical errors to deny renewal of coverage to individuals with chronic health conditions, while granting appeals to healthy individuals.

Virtually all claims are initially denied in a rainmaker-esque fashion. However, they have a monopoly on student health insurance at various universities.

There is no reasonable conversation with employees, as they repeat one and the same denial response without any discussion or reasonable justification.
