An agent representing Americans for Financial Security and Mega Health and Life Insurance came to my home, interviewed my family and settled on a plan, paid in advance. Now these two companies did not provide any type of health insurance benefits to us but just taking our money. I tried to get in touch with the Health Market Company and all it was; was a recording asking to be taken off the contact list.
I did not hear from anyone else from the two companies until two weeks ago. Then that agent wanted to come out to talk us about a better policy with the company and declined the interview. With these companies withdrawing money from our account and overdrafting our account.
In turn, these companies talk promises and benefits but never comes through with the benefits.

In many states, Mega has to be sold under a group by state law. That is how it is and it is not an agent's choice. Once you get the policy, you can (in most cases) drop the group and save a few bucks.

With regards to benefits from Mega, they pay what they are supposed to pay. As you have not listed any details or examples, I would assume you are referring to AFS, not Mega. As for getting a recording to be removed from a contact list, you must be calling the wrong number. Call customer service from the back of your card. Of course you need to call between 9 and 5.

You are not alone in not getting any benefits from Mega Health or AFS/NASE . Contact your state Insurance bureau and tell them about how crappy the deal is, they need to know about these pinheads. Lee is a spokesman from Central Casting , he is not unlike a carp or other bottom feeder.

You obviously are an ignorant, ex-agent who could not succeed at a company and it must be their fault, not yours.

AFS and NASE have a number of benefits ranging from discounts to disability income while hospitilized. I used the benefits before I even became an agent. The membership is required in most states, because that is just how it is. Sometimes you can get a deal through your local chamber of commerce, but guess what? You have to JOIN the chamber. Duh.

By the way, I am not an employee of the company as you say. I am an agent with MANY happy customers and a great career. Obviously sales is not for you (as can be seen from your personality).

I am a ex-agent because your firm is a joke and your leadership is corrupt , and I was in the top 40 agents nationally with your little team so try again. I now represent many top ranked firms that actually cover people when they get sick, you should try it you might sleep better. See to me money isnt everything , even though my account balance is quite large. Adios and why do you come on here maybe the guilt is eating you up.LMAO
