Mega Health Insurance Continued to charge bank account after policy cancelled North Richland Hills Texas

When I received my health insurance policy, the premium had been raised by $51 from the original amount that I had been quoted. I had 10 days from receipt of the policy to return it in it's entirety and the company would cancel said policy. I did so.
I was told at the time that I wrote the original check that it would not be cashed until I had been accepted by the company, Mega Health, and would be notified at the time of acceptance so I could put the money in the bank to cover the check. However the check was cashed immediately causing an overdraft in my acct and an overdraft fee.
Now the company, Mega Health, has charged the bank acct the monthly premium after cancellation, causing again an overdraft and I will incure 4 overdraft fees as a result of this.
Approximately 1 week after I had received the policy in the mail, I received a call from the company wanting to schedule a time for the agent to come out and go over the policy. I told the representative that I had sent to policy back for cancellation and she said that she would make a note of that. What a ripoff.

Wait, so let me get this straight.
You wrote a check from an account that had no money in it. The check bounced. And it is MEGA's fault????
FYI, it is ILLEGAL to write checks like that. Your lucky no charges were pressed or it does not affect your credit. You should know better.
