Mega Life And Health Insurance Company Promises, promises, promises up front-nothing on the back end!! North Richland Hills Texas

We were in need of health insurance for my wife and I about 7 mths ago. When the agent found out we were both self-employed he went into overdrive about NASE and Mega Life and Health. They go hand-in-hand he said. The best of both worlds he said. I should have asked him what galaxy those worlds were in because it sure wasn't ours!!

We were accepted with relative ease which gave us that warm and cozy feeling we were looking for. But when winter got here and I got really sick and had doctor visits and eventually a week-long hospital visit oour insirance company put the screws to us.

Mega Life & Health promises alot up front but pays nothing or next to nothing on every claim. They have to have medical records from every claim and if there is a problem it's always someone else's fault for not getting them the right information. I even had the doctor call them and tell them what they were doing wrong and that their people were not coding the claims right. It was apparent to him that they do this on purpose to avoid paying out claims. How is getting the flu a "pre-existing condition"?

At any rate I have terminated my association with Mega Life and am hoping that future customers of theirs read these reports before they get taken to the cleaners like I did! STAY AWAY FROM MEGA LIFE AND HEALTH!
