1st. Choice Insurance Brokers contacted me about health insurance. They stated (agent Joanne Guerrero) that the insurance that they could offer me was quite an opportunity because it was usually closed to the public accept for limited times. They stated that the insurance "was just like Blue Cross/Blue Shield, except that I was being granted admission through a national co-op-like if I were employed by a company. There would be no medical tests, etc, you are just accepted." After i gave permission to charge $559 to my credit card, I went to the web site that they gave me. The long and short of this is that it is NOT real insurance coverage!!! They say that "hospital visits they pay 80%/you pay 20% and they give you $1,000 day in addition to that. The truth is that the 80% is only paid to the "surgical portion"  and that all you get for hospitalization is $1,000 per day. Luckily, I caught it quickly and have cancelled with my credit card company, so I lose nothing. I usually don't fall for scams, but they are pretty slick!!!
