Premier Health Care This is a "front" for SDS (Smart Data Solutions) and ATA (American Trade Association) Liars; will say whatever they think you want to hear Coral Gables, Florida

I want to let others know that yet another "front" for SDS & ATA is Premier Health Care that uses the website www.premierhealthcareonline.com. When their "agent" called and convinced us to sign up with them, we applied over the phone; had the money taken electronically from our checking acct, & thought we'd found terrific insurance! It wasn't until we got the packet with our cards, the plan, etc. did we ever hear of ATA. The plan wording seemed very vague, so my husband called ATA cust. serv. & was told that our plan was only good for $25,000 lifetime! He said he had a $1,000,000 plan for another $164 each month. That's the beginning of my suspicion there. So after a few days of thinking it over, we decided to cancel & get a refund. The man in ATA said he'd get all of our money back ($624) but when I'd try to get him to email me something that said that in writing, that's when I started getting passed around on the phone, "accidentally" cut off, transferred to the "VP's" answering machine to leave a msg. The girl in the acct. dept. said I needed to fill out and sign and affidavit before they could refund my money. Well, on that affidavit, they have a line that says you agree to never try to get your money back thru any other means, so right there I knew I'd never get it back if I signed & returned this affidavit to them. I called my bank's fraud dept & reported this whole incident to them & we closed our bank acct. & opened a new one. I am waiting for the affidavit from the bank to come in the mail for me to fill out so they can get my money back.
I am just very grateful that my husband made that call to their "customer service" and we figured it out quickly before we were taken even more advantage of. I feel very stupid and naive to have fallen for it, but this "agent" was very convincing & my husband had even changed it from the Silver Plan to the Platinum Plan!
I also reported them to the USPS for mail fraud, so I hope that might do some good. I'm also going to go to the police dept tomorrow to see who else I should report this to.
We also signed up for ID theft protection so we would be protected since they got our social security numbers.
Big lesson!!! Don't ever get insurance over the internet; go to an agent in your town! The "agent" we had said whatever he thought we'd want to hear to convince us to go with them, even when my husband called him after first conversation with ATA! The "agent" con't. to convince him that everything was just as he said & gave complicated explanations, etc. & had my husband convinced again that we had made the right choice and all was well! You have to remember that you have no idea who you are really talking to over the phone or the internet. There are total sociopaths out there who have absolutely no conscience. Go to an agent in your town so you have someone local to call or go see if there's a problem and to answer questions.
