I have a short term disability policy with the Hartford Group. I should be receiving 50% of my monthly pay. This month I have received less than $300.00. My claims are approved a week at a time. My illness is not something that is going to have any significant change in a week. They require the doctor to fill out forms each week, which now costs me $25.00 each instance. They then delay approving them. When I call they tell me that is the way disability works.
