We searched for a health insurance company to cover my children and I and found a local company that works for a larger company.

We (my husband and I) met in our home with the representative and explained exactly what we needed and was given the information on what it would take to start that policy. We agreed upon certain terms and needs and signed and paid in advance for our policies to start.

Within 3 weeks we received our packet and our policies took affect on the 2 April. My children and I had some appointments set up and completed and found out that the policy was not actually benefitting us. We have ended up paying out more than 85% of the cost of the doctor's bills and the company has only paid a very minimal amount that should have been what we pay for a copay or percentage of services to be paid.
