The Mega Life & Health Insurance Ripoff Tried to weasel money and draft my bank account Knoxville Tennessee

I saw the add for the company on the internet & t.v. Superlow health Insurance rates for individuals!
What I expected was a professional phone conversation, however got everything but.

The woman asked for my address and date of birth..normal.
But when I asked if there was a local office or agant I could contact because I wasn't comfortable giving information over the phone she said No. She told me their local agent would schedule a time to meet and call 10 minutes before his arrival.

Confused but curious I made the appointment.
When the salesman got to my home he was very eager to "get started" in filling an application. Didn't ask about what I was looking for, but he did seem very interested in how much $ I was willing to put into it.
Of course I was uncomfortable with his whole demenor, he was talking about how great the plans were and how cheap they were, and also how we wouldn't be treated like second class citizens anymore.

Of course my original quoted rate was much uch lower than what I ended up with when he was finished.

He kept talking about how I needed to sign up now because in a month or even a week the rates would go up!
I didn't agree with his manor nor the way he pushed me to do it now! To do it today! and he was very pushy about a personal check.A money order wasn't good enough.
They only do bank drafts he said.

Feeling skepticl and uncomfortable about giving him a check I refused and said I needed to speak with my husband first.

Later that evening I found out about how horrible this company really is. They refuse to pay for your medical treatments and you end up paying more out of pocket than youor detuctable.

They NEVER cover pregnancy, and the $3,000 detuctable somehow works out to them as PER OCCURANCE!!!
The company has a cease & desist order in WA. state from selling certain insurance policies and an abundance of lawsuits, settled and pending.

They're horrible people and care only about their wallets!
Don't give them the time of day They will rip you off if given the slightest oppurtunity!!!
