I also joined a health club and was never told of this crap to cancel my membership. When I tried, this is the first that I heard of ABC Financial (ABC - Always Bilking Cash)

Here is a SIMPLE solution and works wonderful. Go to your county court house and file in small claims court. In my state it is $16 with a $5.12 registered letter and I can sue up to $2500. Now they have two options, either show up in court (which means an airline ticket, car & hotel) or ignore you.

You win both ways. If they show up, it costs them a bunch of the cash they are ripping off you and others. If they don't, you win a judgement for the total amount.

Should they not accept the registered letter, you may have to find a process server in Little Rock and pay an additional $25-$50 but once they are served, their ass is yours. Especially if you live out of state. All of the 18 reports lived out of state.

Collecting is NOT easy but hand the judgement over to some scum bag lawyer and offer half. Those lawyers are a dime a dozen. At least you have vindication for very little money and less than they are ripping you off for.
