L A Fitness /UNSAFE / UNCLEAN Tinley Park Illinois

I have been a member of the Tinley Park , IL . LA Fitness for over a year now . I already listed a report after my 2nd month there . Since I have found that the club itself is a filthy hole . Lets talk about the sauna . There are paper towels under the benches that have been there since I joined . There is dryed spit on the wall of the mens sauna that has been there since I joined . Its needless to say it has never been cleaned . I guess they think heat cleans ??? Next is the carpet . It has never been cleaned .

For 3 monthes I could not understand when I sit on a locker room bench and change my shoes they STINK ! I bought foot powder and shoe deoderant . Nothing ! It still stunk ! Then I finally realized its the carpet itself . Filthy stench .

If you look ndown from the balcony to the main floor you can see large dirt stains at each work out station and machines . That carpet does not really stink its just dirty , real dirty . Lets talk about the parking lot . Its winter now so it does not show . ALL the trees and bushes are dead . I joined in the winter and did not notice this until spring . I waited but no leaves ever appeared . Total neglect over grown with weeds . Their large sign has weeds so tall that they completely cover and hide it .

Oh and then there is the convention center that has guests take over the parking lot . I went last Saturday , I could not park anywhere . There were about a dozen people inside working out and a parking lot full of over 75 vehicles . What did they do ? NOTHING ! OK, lets get back to the mens locker room . Twice now have I walked into the locker room only to find numerous lockers broken into . Not 1 locker but 5 ! They hacked them up and how the heck did no one see ? I don't know about you , but my gym bag carries about $300 in gym gear . That figure is about average for everyone .

I have a lot to lose like everyone else . Not to mention the humiliation of being robbed . I told them what I think and he said "You should see other gyms" "They are much worse" . I said I don't care , I pay for safety and clean locker rooms . He said Cardinal fitness is worse . I told him that is why I pay twice as much to have a better and safer place to work out . I'M PISSED ! !
