I signed up to get laser hair removal with Advanced Laser Clinics in March of 2009. I paid a $1,600 fee through GE Care Credit. I was told by the owner of the clinic (Namrita) that I would get one year worth of treatments with that initial payment. In October of 2009, the owner sold her business without any notification to her clients. The new owner was now Nu U Medspa.  According to the terms of the sale, Nu U Medspa would be required to uphold all customer contracts.  Upon arriving for my appointment in October, I was notified by the new manager, Monica, that Nu U Medspa would not take any responsibility in continuing my treatments without additional payments that would add up to over $1,000.  Nu U Medspa is NOT keeping up with the terms of the sale. They are a rip-off.  They will do anything they can to make money, even if it means to steal it from hard working customers.
