Fern Orshan-Sunshine Caregivers In Miami Bills Medicaid and Never Pays the Workers Miami Florida

First, Sunshine Caregivers has been established in South
Florida for more than 10 years. 
We were fully accredited with AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration)
and have been in 100% compliance for the entire life of the company. 

 

I have a severely handicapped daughter and have been
servicing the special needs population for over a decade.  Under no circumstances would I ever take
advantage of the very people (and their families) I have been working to
protect - my daughter included!

 

Additionally, I have never fraudulently billed or collected –
nor have I ever “removed monies” so that people can’t “change their checks” –
whatever that really means…  We at
Sunshine have always paid workers on time and per our contract commitments.

 

In any case, I closed the company as of August 20^th, 2009, for personal
reasons, making all of this moot.

 

Finally, I must comment on the fact that this report is
anonymous – that tells me that the person isn’t being totally open and honest
about what they are saying.  Also notice
that there are no specifics mentioned – only vague emotional terms designed to
rile you up! When I have something to say I stand behind my words and don’t
slander people.

I don’t believe it!

I received a couple of calls today, informing me that you are on this wonderful sight called “Rip-Off Reports” and that you are actually trying to save what little you have left of your name. I thought you had crawled under a rock or something after all the lives you had destroyed. I know you have never been the brightest candle in the box but this move was completely ignorant. Don’t you think? Amazing what medication can do for a person huh? You see, I read what the original claims had stated.   They are “Right on the Money” on those comments. You know that!!! And then you write this; to say your sob story again. OK, lets rebuttal then….

YOU SAY…

  Yes, 10 years ago you began business with Med-Waiver (Agency for Persons with Disabilities) and later with AHCA. However, your statement above is False. You were removed from contract by Med-Waiver after being on probation for the two years for….guess? Not paying the workers of disabled clients. They removed your license early this year. Later, AHCA came in for their review and so many complaints. You were not in compliance Fern. You had not been in compliance, according to records for some time. They shut you down. “They” being the key word. All your workers in staff, all the employees for these needy people kept getting the Run-Around from you for months. They never got paid! Cops were there everyday. This leads me to your next comment….

Ha! That is sad, using your own child, CLASSIC. But, that is what you have become. You have an outstanding debt to so many workers. So many! Families are still crying over your injustice and using of State Funds for your own benefit!

STOP Payments were your game. You would remove monies quickly before the workers you gave checks to would be able to go to the bank to change their checks in the morning. You have been removed from Med-Waiver, Medicaid and Medicare. NOT BY YOUR CHOICE!

All Medicaid, Medicare, and Waiver programs, shut YOU, Fern Gordon Orshan, down. For not paying the workers what you billed. Then, you started calling all the companies to try to get work for yourself. You never paid the workers when you left. Your file still must be in the States Attorney’s hands.
