I purchased BoAir lifetime furnace air filters through their dealer RiteAir, Inc. Their website, www.BoAir.net, says that the filters are 25 times more effective in removing dust, spores, dander, etc. than regular filters.
After using them for 2 months, I went to wash them as the directions indicate, and they were as clean as the day I bought them. In other words, they did not remove any dust.
I tired to reach the dealer, RiteAir Inc. and was told that no one was available to talk to me. I tried again the next day and a Pricilla said someone would return my call within 24 hours. That was 10 days ago and I've still not heard anything.
I tried to call BoAir Inc at the number listed on the website. All I received was a recording in which they said to leave a message and they would return my call. That was 9 days ago and I've still not heard anything.
I tired to reach them at the email shown on their web site, and my email was returned stating, "No Such User Here".
Since the filters do not work and I'm not able to reach either the manufacturer or the dealer, I've concluded that it is just a scam.
