Crums Climate Control Save yourself time and money Ripoff Winter Park Florida

In 2004, like many others I responded to the bait and switch direct mail offering over-stocked quality named units and asking to help keep the techs busy. Although the letter said over-stocked Trane units, the sales rep suggested I buy a Goodman unit as it was the highest selling commercial ac unit on the market. My new unit NEVER worked properly and after my first telephone call, someone came out and said it was just an oversight in the installation and it was repaired. Well it wasn't and that's the last time I could get a response or a repair person to my house.

This unit was a lemon plain and simple and should have been replaced. I tried so many times to get satisfaction that I finally gave up. Now if I'm lucky I can set the unit to 79 in the summer and keep the house at about 81 running all day. It gets to 79 at night most of the time. That of course is in between the periods of not working at all (the outside blower refuses to operate if the unit runs too long). I am not in a position to replace a 3 year old AC unit, nor should I have too. Despite my surely apparent disgust I could not get satisfaction from Crums, thus I am relegated to a life of 81 degrees during the summer. I also paid for the city inspection fee for the installation but that inspection never happened. The city may be to blame but I have a feeling that money didn't go to the city of Logwood.

It's been a few years now but when my unit stopped working again today, I searched Crums online and found pages and pages of similar complaints on quality and service. I decided to add my own. With this kind of outcry, I would think it's just a matter of time before someone starts a class action suit against this company. Well I'm still sweating but feel a little better having written this and hopefully we can save some of their potential future consumers some aggravation and money.
