United Air Comfort AKA Comfort Air is a ripoff that cheats employees and customers, beware of this company if you are seeking service or employment. Internet Nationwide, Worldwide

This is a company that will basically hire anyone with no prior knowledge of A/C units. For those seeking employment from this company, they will make the job sound very promising. But DO NOT be fooled!!!

This company has their employees working VERY hard for a commision instead of an hourly wage. Sometimes even 12 to 13 hrs a day. They don't provide a company vehicle, but expect you to use your own truck/van. They don't even give you gas money or even a reimbursement for your gas.

So basically what it comes down to is you are putting out allot of money to work for this company. Some days you may be working 10-12 hrs and only make 30 dollars. Well after you consider the money it takes to fill your gas tank to drive to and from each job, you are basically working for free.

They also send you to do jobs w/o all of the equipment you need. I myself ended up putting out hundreds of dollars for needed tools and supplies in which they "claim" to provide for you.

Now, on with the customers. I really feel sorry for anyone who hires someone from this company. They basically teach their technicians to "hustle" out there in the field. Which in other words means sell them new parts that they don't need.

The technicians are basically forced to either rip off the customer to make money, since remember they arent paid hrly but by a 25% commition. So the customer ends up spending hundreds of dollars on new equipment thats not needed, and having the work done by technicians that are not properly trained or certified.

Lets just say I know about this company from the inside. I guess I did'nt make good money while working for them because I am an honest person that doesnt beleive in ripping people off. But BEWARE!! Most of the techs don't care.
