We at Wholesaletrains.com pride ourselves in customer service. To clearly state the facts of this incident, Mr. Dagmar Keller placed the order for an RC Truck (LOSB0105). Although we did NOT have the color he wanted, we went the extra step (instead of just closing the order as unavailable) to contact the customer to see if he wanted a different color that we DID have in stock. Some might appreciate that effort. The next day he contacted us back to say he would like one we had in a different color. There was no mention of a cancellation at all.We then shipped the item to him.
Now if he had the information correct, he would find that the price we charged him was actually LESS than the Fedex website because we have an account with them and do bulk shipments with standard pick up times. The lower prices also includes OUR shipping materials and labor to package the item.
The CORRECT information was a 26x20x10 box with 13lbs valued at $99.99 from zip code 14845 to 85388 (that's right, NY to Arizona - not cheap). The price comes up on FedEx as $38.34. However, we charged him $32.79. We do NOT profit on our shipping, we simply cover the costs involved.
With the volume of business we do at great wholesale prices, it is not easy to contact customers everytime an issue arises. However, when we do, we usually end up with grateful customers - not customers who like to be deceiptful and slander our business.
Fortunately, we can pick and choose who we do business with.
