On February 1, 2005, the Federal Trade Commission filed a lawsuit against the owners of this company. As part of a stipulated preliminary injunction, the owners agreed to turn the company over to a court-appointed receiver pending final resolution of the case.

My hope is that consumers whose money arrived at the company's P.O. Box on or after February 1 will have their checks or money orders returned. It's too early to tell, though, what, if any, refunds will be available for consumers whose checks and money orders have already been cashed.
