I had went on internet to search for stay at home jobs a couple of places ask for my phone number. Out of the clear blue sky I got a call from this place called Start Up Essentials, they sounded so sure this is what I needed to do. They could not wait for me to agree.
I explained to them I did not know anything about an internet e-commerce business, that I was a dummy when it came to the computer and internet, they explained to me that would be no problem they would help me the whole way and to call or e-mail if I needed help building the web site or gettting listed with the search engines. I understood they would do all this, with no start up fees, I would make a payment, then they told me about the study CD's and laptop and all I had to do was sigh lease agreement, I was skeptical at first but they convinced me they would be there every step of the way.
It was very difficult to contact them and when I was finally able to get through to them they were rude and did not want any part of helping me. I have been stressed and have cried more than I have cried in my entire life because of the frustration and money it has cost me and I don't know how to get out of this mess. I have cancelled all the accounts associated with Start Up Essentials and USA card services, but I can't get rid of A-1 Leasing. I was scammed and so were many other people. Don't know what to do now. Any Ideas!

Hello.
Mary I am first of all deeply sorry for your uneasiness about what happened. I do not understand though what went wrong. Did you have questions about what to do? How to use some partners or programs. I will try to help.
I used to work for the company for about 7 months. It was terrible there, they changed that pay range on us, thats how we were paid, by the number of transfers we did in a day, or good credit people, and had some cheezy dinner once a moth for the top reps.
To answer you report, your in a non cancelable lease, and you are told and called on three seperate occations by the phone rep, a compliance officer, and by the leasing company that you cannot cancel the lease, there is no buyer's remorse. You cannot cancel it, and since it is a lease, its a $5K mark against your credit if you skip payments on it.
The only thing I can suggest is follow through with starting your business and do "The Journey" educational program, there is good points in there, and good partners to help you start up. Good luck.
