The work-at-home come-on was serving the need of home owners with adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs) which are about to bankrupt the borrowers as the higher payments kick in. It cost $500 to "join." The advertising is through Aggressive Advertising, Inc., 3003 N. Central Avenue, Phoenix 85012 (1-888-429-8480) which, for $9,700 provided 2,700 postcards, 2,700 lead address stickers and 2,700 response stickers with the 3aoo 800 number and "my" website, http://www.3aoo.com/13740wes. I had to purchase postage stamps (an additional $702). I was told I would make at least $4,000 per month: $250 for every 7 mortgage applications. That was on February 12. I am a retired postal worker with monthly retirement of $164 and a little over $1,000 in social security.

Although it is generally in the news with national leaders including presidential candidates proposing various means of assistance (Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland got 9 of Ohio's largest lenders to agree to help borrowers in every way possible), the postcards said nothing about re-writing ARMs; the website says nothing about re-financing ARMs or the potential disaster from the higher payments kicking in.

I stuck on all the labels and postage stamps and even made up an additional label raising the alarm of the ARM payments possibly doubling.

In 2 months, I got 23 visitors to the website and no mortgage applications. I have tried communicating with Web Wealth Strategies by telephone and fax and by messages sent from the home page but I have had no response. They promise "3 awesome online opportunities" but deliver 2 awesome opportunities to throw your money down the drain. As for Aggressive Advertising Associates, I threatened a lawsuit for fraud and my $9,700 was promptly refunded but I am still out over $1,200.
