Do not order from this online company. They will place your appliance on backorder and not tell you until you call them and speak to someone live. They will not answer multiple e-mails or send order updates. Then when you call they tell you it will be weeks to get the item from the manufacturer. They will orally tell you can cancel with no charge (spoke to Maria in CS).  Weeks later they charged the item to my credit card and charged me 25% restocking fee when it "shipped". Since they would not put anything in writing or respond to my e-mails AMEX credit card hands are tied. It is my word against theirs and I am out 25% restocking fee.

Resolution Sought: Refund my money since they do not inform customers items are backordered. Customer service reps tell customers no charge to drop items from backorder status but will not confirm in writing. Specifically ask Maria at Universal to send me a cancellation notice in writing. This may be a training issue but it is still unethical.
