I saw an order page in our local Sunday paper and saw a product that would be terrific for an elder. The elder would be my father and I wanted this item for him on his 84th birthday on July 7, 2009, which is fast approacing. It was the very small hearing aide device for only $9.95+ S&H each and could be worn in either left or right ear. What a miracle this product would have made to anyone with hearing impairments!

I had put off making the purchase for the fear of all those nasty ripoffs out there. To my stupidity, I went ahead anyway and ordered on line on June 23, 2009.

Seemed official enough until I tried thanking them for the service on line and will be expecting their receipt as to when the shipping was to be made; according to them. I got a "return" on my email, also saying that the reply address was not recognizable and unable to deliver under "spam".

I allowed this to sleep on this for a few days and retried my email again and thought perhaps get lucky this time and that they would follow up. To date, nothing has changed. I've tried many different ways to properly enter their email address, thinking I may be in error of their email address. When it continued to come back unrecognizable, this is when the hair on the back of my neck stood up.

In fact, as I tried to resend my replies of "thank yous", I also typed in that if my reply returned one more time, then I should suspect that this was a mail fraud act and that action may ensue. I know now that this was a ripoff event!

My current fear at this point is that they have my credit card number now and may try to reuse it for their evil purposes. I am a citizen too, of this economic downturn, and every monies that leave my pocketbook is critical and I am facing extreme hard times as well.

My question to the public at large is this...."would we like to band together and take down these evil-doers into the legal arena"? We must do the right thing before more victims are taken.

Please say "YES" and do the right thing!!
