invent-tech I just seen my invention for the pregnancy type urine diabetic test strip in a store. Internet

In August of 2005 I called invent tech with my idea. I spoke to a representative of the company who asked me to send a description and drawing. It was for a pregnancy type urine diabetic test strip.He said there was a strip used for urine in the past and was discontinued. He said he would check and see if there was one like mine out while i sent him the drawing. I received a package in the mail about a week later. I read over it and called.

I ask what the 10,000 fee was for? He explained it was for a patent, building, marketing, etc. He said i will take a down payment of 599.00. i explained to him that I did not have that kind of cash. He told me to ask family or close friends. I did, noone had that to invest. So life went on but, today i was shopping and low and behold, right below the pregnancy test in the glass case was my invention. I never received a dime and wonder how they can take my idea and make money off of it.
