CDC contracted for a foundation and a complete sump pump system.

What was not finished:

Did not install working drains around the perimeter of the house as required by code.

A tubing was simply dropped in a hole without gravel or covering as required.

The tubing rises six inches higher than where it starts which does not allow water to flow and the water goes nowhere as does the tubing which just ends a few inches below the surface on the side of the house.

The drains were supoosed to be installed properly with gravel base, a covering and pitched so the water would flow. The drain was to go out to the front yard just short of the curb. It ends at the side of the house.
This is a worse position from what I started with.

A complete sump pump replacement was to be installed and was contracted for.

The sump pump hole was to be two and a half feet wide with cover and was supposed to drain into the tubing around the house which was to run just short of the curb.

This was not delivered as agreed, the hole is about 18 inches across. There is no check valve so the water runs back into the hole.

The sump pump drain pipe just ends on the surface about six feet from the house, not far enough to safely carry the water away.

The foundation was shorted on the following.
The top rows of block are not cement filled as required and the lag bolts pulled out of several of the blocks.
They refused to put a moisture barrier below the slab as required also by code.

There did not supply the door to the crawl space from the existing basement as promised.

The excess soil from the excavation was not spread at the wood line as promised but left in piles.

The job was dragged out over four plus months delaying all the succeding scheduled work.

I called twenty or more times asking them to finish so we could frame and they just never showed to complete the job.
