I was solicited by this company to provide my home improvement company with qualified internet leads through the offer of a 10-lead trial for $450. Because I am leary of the quality of online lead companies (through experience), I negotiated 8 free leads along with the 10 paid leads to be charged to my credit card. I verbally authorized the only the initial $450 charge on my credit card and was asked to sign a contract authorizing MyFreeEstimates.com to charge my account $900 when my account was down to 3 leads remaining. I refused to sign because what I agreed to purchase was the 10-lead package, which I wanted to try. I was given 7 free leads, all old, of which I actually was able to schedule one appointment, with no sale. I never received my 10 paid leads. The company has refused to provide my paid 10 leads and to give me a refund of the $450 already paid. Long story short, I wish I had read the other RipOff reports! Don't get yourself hooked up with these scam artists.

We are a contractor who also signed up with myfreeestimates.com and got ripped off. We never signed any authorization for them to withdraw funds from our bank account, we set up a cash account only where we sent them a check for $450 just to try the service and they took the bank account number off our check even after we cancelled the service in writing and withdrew $900 without our permission. We are asking you to contact us because we are going to the attorney general to see what we can do to get this fraud shut down. If you are interested in writing a letter for the attorney general, we are trying to get a collective complaint going so there is an investigation into this company.
