JN Roofing And Window Est. 1999 Roof Hole Plywood not replaced - Shingled Over a Huge Hole in Roof - Asked for Cash at Door for Under Quote on Financed Job Mississauga Ontario

We have given this company 1 week to repair the incomplete roof repair/shingling job done to our home. They actually said the plywood on the roof was fine and shingled over a 4 foot x 4 foot hole in the roof without repairing or replacing the plywood. The hole and rot where obvious to anyone. We were quoted 100 square feet of plywood repair/replacement within the contract. We never received either the repair or the plywood.

Half way through the job they also knocked on the door asking my 72 year old mother for more money stating, "if she didn't pay there would be problems". The excess money was for more roofing tiles and because there was 2 layers of shingles. We already had told the sales agent during the quote of the two layers and the hole in the roof. It should all have been included in the quote. She assured us the hole would be fixed properly. My mother issued the excess 1300 dollars (besides the total that was previously financed) promptly. They also bent the eves at the front of the home with their ladder.

One week after the job was complete it began to rain. I went to the attic trap and looked up with a light and digital camera in hand. What I saw was an obvious hole in the roof that had been shingled over, rotten plywood that was still leaking at which point we realized we had been lied to and snowed. I called the sales agent and wrote them an email and was told that the email address had changed and that she didn't receive my email and to resend it to two different email addresses. If I don't get a call today (it's been 2 hours)and they have been warned within my email, that if the work is not repaired within one week alternative action will be taken.
