Remediation Group Inc. Bad Service Ethic Davies, Florida

Consumers, please be aware and re-consider before you contract services with Remediation Group Inc.(RGI)!!!

I recently requested their services due to mold detected in my newly purchased condo unit. The website looks impressive and convinced. We asked one representative to come over for inspection and quote. We also conducted an indoor air testing through a third-party environmental consultant company. When we forwarded the test result to RGI, they provided a quote in a total of $2,200. We found this price reasonable and gave 50% deposit so they could start the work.

When they completed the job, the environmental consultant company came back for another testing, but the result failed due to the fact RGI did not follow the initial recommendation. We contacted RGI immediately about the result, they slapped us with another quote of $1,500. When we compared both quotes issued by RGI, I found the work scopes were exactly the same, therefore, I called RGI back and inquired why should I pay for the same works twice. After a long battles back and forth, RGI finally agreed to re-do all remediations at no additional cost, which is part of their service guaratee noted on the website.

3 days later, the environmental consultant company returned for another test, and this time the result was positive. Very shortly after we knew about the results (no more than 1 hour), RGI started harassing calls to our work places during the middle of the day to chase payments. They called our office numbers more than 10 times (both my wife's and mine) within a 30 minutes window. Throughout the time we dealt with RGI, we only gave them our cell phone numbers and we never gave out our work numbers, and RGI did not place any single call on our cell phones! So we do not feel more embarassed at our works, we had to stop everything we did and settled the payment which looked like we have been delinquent for a long period on the service charge.

I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my life and I would not use their services ever again. Very unethical the way they do business, DO NOT be fooled by their website and brochure!!!
