Vanderbilt is the company that we paided our mortgage to... This is how we aquire the policy with American Bankers/Home First Agency. We've paid our mortgage off and our homeowners insurance payments every month... this is the thanks we get for being loyal customers to Vanderbilt and Home First Agency. For an act of nature such as windstroms to damages our home to top it off...... Denied the claim..... big time Big Rip Off.

Never pays any claims

AUTHOR: Catherine - Strawberry Plains (U.S.A.)

I have had the same problem with the insurance co. My roof has leaked for the last 4 years and has done extensive damage to the home, because the insurance co continues to deny the claim, even though storm/hail damage is covered in my policy. Whe the home becomes unlivable they can have it back. Until then I am looking at the situation like I am paying rent not mortgage payments.
