Steve Smith - S&E Smith'S Remodeling Took advantage of the elderly on home remodeling Cincinnati Ohio

On June 12, 2008, my 80 year old mother wanted her bathrooms remodeled. Mr smith gave her estimate of a total of $6400.00 to completly remodeling both baths. After the job was completed with the first bathroom, which should had been a handicappe bathroom. The family first notice, the walk-in shower was also enclosed with the toilet. Therefore, the toilet is in the shower while they will be bathing.

Secondly, the drain in the shower wasn't properly center, which mean the water leave a puddle in front of the toilet. It is a mess! Mr Smith attempted to come back out to fix it until the building inspector was called. He wanted to put concrete on top of the floor my mother paid for and another layer of tiles. That was unacceptable to the family. We wanted Mr Smith to tear out the floor and do it the right way.

Also, my naive mother paid Mr Smith $3,000 for the guest bathroom he haven't even touch. I spoke with Mr Smith to ask him to return the $3,000 to my mother, he refused. He claimed whatever the building inspector charged him with, he was going to take it out the money he have. Mr smith had 14 days to get a contract number otherwise he would had been fine. That doesn't have anything to do with my mother. He refuse to return any phone calls. The family want the full amount of $3,000 and 1,800 to be able to fix the problem he created. He refused.

Please expose the scam artist. We are determine to make some "noise".
