Millpond Estates New Port Richey HOA Discrimination at Millpond Estates New Port Richey Florida

First of all....never ever buy a home in Millpond Estates in New Port Richey unless you are a crabby kid hating came to Florida to die elder. The homeowners are 70% retirement age here. If you are under 65, BEWARE! Our children, whom are very well behaved are constantly being remarked at in a negative manner. Apparently, according to forums on the internet with this very issue, it's a Millpond Estates way of life. They HATE KIDS. Families I have talked to are all on the same agreement. But noone, noone, wants to challenge the HOA. Why? Because you will get HARASSED even more! Letters and fines for ridiculous offenses. Oh, I left my newspaper out for more than a day, I need to be punished! Are you kidding me? A list of new rules for the pool I PAY $40 a month to use came out today...."No beverages allowed except bottled water(plastic), no food or snacks"....are u serious? I can't bring a juice box for my young child? Is this illegal? YEP. "No flotation devices unless Coast Guard approved" ....hmmmm....guess that eliminates ALL KIDS flotaion devices...."No sitting on the edge of the pool"....are you kidding me? The list goes on and on and this neighborhood is a joke. As soon as the FL market gets back on it's feet we are out of this hellhole of a neighborhood. Thanks to all the old farts...why don't you just live in a 55 plus community?...or better yet go back where you came from...I am a FL native. Quit the disrespect now. Period.
