Apex alarm installed an alarm system that has never worked, at our house. They had technicians attempt, four times to repair it but that never worked either. I refused to pay so they have threatened to sue me and send my account to collections. At this time I'm going to pay the contract off and when I get home I'll seek legal counsel. Unless you have an existing suit going on in behalf of some other customers.
I am not at home and won't be for aprox. 10 months so there is no way they can send tech's out to work on the system right now, so I'm out an alarm and lots of money. I'm living in Houston, Texas for the time being.
If you can help please let me know. I'm desperate!!

I can tell you that we have had numerous complaints about Apex Security. I work for a major Home Security Company that is nationwide and we actually are in the process of seeking legal action against this company as their salespeople are posing as salespeople from our company and stating that Apex has bought our company out and that customers need to have their equipment switched. Obvioulsy this company has no morals or ethics.
My suggestion is to contact the Attorney General's office in the state where the alarm is installed. When you do get back into town I would also seek legal counsel as they will for sure mark your credit report with negatives.

This web site is a big rip-off.
There has no response to any original report, that I sent.
I don't think they can or will do anything to help a consumer.
