cross country total protect CrossCountry Total Protect is a RIPOFF, Totally unethical organization Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

I called crosscountry on August 18th about the fan motor in my upstairs air conditioner going bad.3 days later a technician shows up,3 days was the soonest they could get there.He had to call and describe the problem to CrossCountry.This was on Friday. Tuesday August 22nd CrossCountry says ok you can order a new motor.It should take 3-4 days to arrive.Monday August 30th the motor arrives but the company cannot make it out until tuesday.During this time my A/C unit downstairs begins freezing up due to working overtime trying to cool our house during 90 plus temperatures.I call CrossCountry again to file a new claim.Now they tell me that my contract says it covers only one system.The contract say it covers the airconditioning system.I consider that to be the system that cools my house which involves an upstairs and downstairs unit. I could write a book about this company about what a sham this organization is. My only comment is in no way would i recommend to anyone to purchase a homewarrany plan from this outfit which also operates under the name TotalProtect. No one should have to wait 2 weeks and still not have airconditioning.Especially during the hottest month of the year. I asked them if it were 20 below in february you would I have to winterize my house and move into a hotel while they decide from sunny Ft.. Lauderdale how long they want to jerk you around. They did tell me that frozen pipes would not be covered in that scenario.
