these people act as if they have some kind of power over the residences. they will not honor the responsibility the have to take care of the people who live in this community. they have told me in writing and approved certain repairs then gone back on it. they will take your money and keep it. wayland hundley is some wanna-be lawyer who is in charge and he is the reason many people have sold and left. i am in the process of contacting some former residents and some current ones to file a law suit.
repairs on the board members homes happen very quick. if you are not one of their buddies watch out. these people have formed their own little govt. i feel bad for some of us who have purchased homes in this beautiful area. we need new board members, unfortunately nobody goes to any of the meetings for the election. someday i will sell and gladley be away from these people if i can ever get my home painted and repaired.

This statement submitted by Tim concerning his unit contains factual inaccuracies, misstatements, and is vigorously disputed. Because Rosewall was never approached with this complaint directly, no one involved with Rosewall was aware of this complaint until 2007 - three years later.
First, official association records for 2004 show that: 1) all repair and painting issues concerning unit were timely resolved according to the association's repair program, and Tim approved the work; and 2) Tim was treated the same as other homeowners EVEN TOUGH the records show that he routinely failed to timely follow repair submission and other procedures. He was actually treated better.
Second, during the period in question, Tim moved from the Rosewall community in NC to Georgia, and allowed his estranged wife and her boyfriend to live in the property along with Tim's minor son. At Tim's request, much of the association's communication with Tim was through his estranged wife. On several occasions, the association was getting conflicting direction from Tim and his wife. Much of Tim 's frustration and subsequent comments likely stem from his domestic dispute.
Third, Tim misrepresented to the association that he was the "owner" when he was actually just a renter. Once the factually misrepresentation was discovered, the association treated him as a renter. Tim rented his home from the actual homeowners for between 12-24 months. During this period, the associations maintained a very good relationship with the actual homeowner, including when the homeowner was cooperative dealing with the violation of association rules by Tim.
Fourth, W Hundley was not a member of the governing board of the association and had no responsibility to make decisions impacting Tim's property. Not sure why his name is provided here. He was recognized by the association in 2005 for his extensive volunteer efforts for the homeowners, including leading a major landscaping renovation program and helping the association collect delinquent funds.
In 2004, Rosewall's 23 homes included doctors, scientists, university department heads, chief executives, attorneys, and other professionals. Rosewall maintained simple, easy to follow, and long standing procedures for the operation of the community. The association had a very difficult period in 2004 dealing with Tim.
