The person who wrote this report has a detorted gasp on reality. I am the owner of HHF. We sell all types of ponies here from prospects to finished ponies. I also guarantee all my ponies will pass a vet check. We do not sell lame ponies. If a pony doesn't pass a vet check even after purchase do to a pre-existing condition, I will take the pony back. The only event she may have gotten distorted in the pony we brought in from another farm that did not pass the vet check, the pony was returned, the client got all her money back and the client still boards and takes lessons at HHF.
As for the pony mare she is talking about, it was her own daughter who was leasing the pony. They didn't buy the pony because Dianne could not come up with the money. And when she could not afford to lease the pony anymore I let her daughter have a free lease on the pony. The pony who Dianne saw when I brought her to the farm, she saw me training her, and her daughter took the pony to it's first show. All of which she knew, there was no confusion about the ponies training or show experience. We did find out the pony was bred before I bought her, but Dianne nor anyone else had purchased the pony. And the pony did not foal 2 days before a show that I think was added for dramatization on Dianne's part.
We did have to ask Dianne to leave the farm for non payment of board and the problems she created among the boarders. The barn is back to the happy peaceful place everyone enjoys. I have also won two judgements against her in court. This report was actually posted two days after the second judgement went in my favor. We at HHF are truly sorry that Dianne seems so unhappy, bitter, and vengeful. We hope that she can stop she self destructive ways.

The lady who posted this was asked to leave the farm for non payment of board and the problems she cause with all the boarders. There were several complaints made of her stealing the other boarders stuff, her foul mouth, inappropriate comments about sex and condoms to a boarder 14 yr old son, and the fast that she drank heavily and rode her horses and then drove home with her child in the car. All the boarders were concerned, so as the owner I had to ask her to leave. I also had to take her to court for non payment which she has lost two judgements on. She posted this two days after she lost the second time. She is just unhappy, bitter, and vengeful.
I do sell ponies both prospect and finished. I have never sold a lame ponies and welcome buyers to vet check before the purchase anything. The broodmare she is talking about I allowed her daughter to have a free lease because she couldn't afford to buy the pony. I did find out the pony had been bred before I bought it, but no one had bought the pony and it did not foal two days before a show, Dianne added that for dramatization.
We ask anyone interested in HHF to come see us for youself, all our boarders and clients are happy and our barn is a close knit family atmosphere now that Dianne is gone. We hope also Dianne can get the help she needs and stop her self destructive behavior.

The unkind campaign against Ashley Harris / Harris Heights is unfounded and unsubstantiated, and is legally very troublesome. Firstly: OF COURSE you should get a vet check when you purchase a horse. You should ride the horse, look at the horse, let your vet look at it, let another trainer look at it, borrow it... any adult would know that these are standard options when you purchase a horse. Don't you take a used car to a mechanic before buying it? Don't you drive it?
Secondly: Ashley Harris is not only NOT the person portrayed in this internet bashing campaign, she is more charitable and honorable than those making the accusations. She has gone to great distances and great personal expense to do the charitable work of rescuing, healing and training horses. She also donates a lot of time and property to children's charities. Ashley Harris sits on the board of the Mississippi Hunter Jumper Association and is a respected member. Ashley Harris is also known for her great patience with those who are slow to pay or can't pay at all for some period of time. She has been known to try to work out a plan that will maintain good will and friendships whenever possible.
I have to assume that Ashley Harris / Harris Heights is being victimized by Diane Herman who refused to pay her bills to Harris Heights and to her own veterinarian, and ended up losing in court for that reason. Only 3 days later, posts began appearing on various places online making outrageous claims against Harris Heights and Ashley Harris personally. It's pretty astonishing that the timing is so clear and the names barely disguised. Not one bad word had been uttered against Ashley Harris or Harris Heights until Diane Herman lost her court cases and was forced to pay her overdue bills and give up her horse for non-payment.
The Mississippi Bar Association might be very interested to know that Diane Herman, a new attorney herself, has entered launched such an unethical and adolescent character assault. IP addresses are not mysterious or private--they can be traced and identification can be made if necessary.
Please consider the source of the other reports and ask all that you can of those who are making those claims. Please also know that Ashley Harris / Harris Heights would welcome vet checks as she always has.

Harris Heights is a great place to ride, learn and board our horses. Great family atmosphere. We love horses and spend a lot of time at Harris Heights. Everyone gets along good and everyone helps one another. Ashley is always there and willing whether you just have a horse question, taking lessons or just hanging out.

A "ditorted gasp of realiity?" Obviously no Rhodes scholar wrote that!
Ashley is stuck in a bad marriage and brags about not sleeping with her husband (but also brags about sleeping with "cowboys" in Montana on her vacation without her husband) and makes these statements in front of her students. She is the only one talking bout sex in front of children, and she has a large group of lesbians at her "family atmosphere" barn.
Ashley talks trash about all of her boarders - not just about me. She talks about her "best friend" Anna's drinking and poor riding (although Anna rides better and drinks less than Ashley), about Darlene and her inability to pay her bills and her "bitchiness" (not true), about Darlene's daughter Andrea about how Andrea cannot ride (she can! and better than Ashley), she calls her "friend" and boarder Carol "trisexual" and "trashy" (also not true). She makes fun of her boarder Angela and her lack of knowledge about horses and her "ditziness." Ashley complains about Christy (who built an arena on Ashley's property at no cost to Ashley) because Ashley thinks Christy should pay for more slag for the drive. She talks about everyone who works to pay her bills - including her husband.
Do not believe Ashley Harris when she says that she "kicked" anyone out. Another boarder moved her horse on April 7, even though she had paid board for the whole month of April and still had a paid-for stall. When this boarder came to help me move my horses four days later, Ashley called the police and falsely told them that she had evicted her and told her not to come back on the property. Ashley did this with the intention of having the boarder (who still had a stall paid for in Ashley's barn) arrested. Luckily she was unsuccessful. And yes, she did it in front of witnesses, some of whom have now moved their horses from Harris Heights to the Silver Lining and are very happy now.
As to the issue of drinking- it s not unusual for everyone out there to drink an occasional beer in the heat of the day. I was no exception. I was not drunk or intoxicated at the barn. In fact the only people that I ever saw out there drunk were Ashley's employees and lesbian friends who had parties out there with large groups of drunk women. Real "family atmosphere."
On the issue of condoms for 14-year-old boy- this is not the true story. The truth is that I am Registered Nurse and part of my job description (and regular duties) is to instruct adolescents on the dangers and risks of unprotected sex and to instruct them in safe sex and birth control if they are not abstinent. I offered to have "the talk" with this teenager. I made the offer to his mother, not to him. I did not offer to put a condom on him. His mother is only 26 and has no education. This teenager is the product of unprotected sex outside of marriage and is not likely to remain abstinent until marriage (after all his parents did not). I believed then and believe now that teenagers should be told that abstinence is the best and safest choice, but they should also be given accurate information about how to prevent pregnancy and STD's if they do not remain abstinent. Our state has the highest rate of teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV, in the nation. Education is imperative for the safety of our young people.
Ashley has seized and sold customers' horses without the legal right to do so and has kept all of the proceeds (conversion and embezzlement), has made false allegations to DHS about her boarders, has filed false police reports after her customers left, etc. Anyone who knows Ashley knows that NO ONE has ever moved a horse from that barn owing money. She needs psychiatric help and if she does not immediately cease her defamation of me, I will sue her for more than I already am.

The negitive remarks made about myself and my farm are not true. Since Rip Off Report doesn't check or verify the information before they publish it anyone can write anything they want. To you Dianne, I am sorry for whatever it is that I did to make you hate and want to hurt me so badly. I do not wish the same for you. My barn is for people to enjoy horses together. The atmosphere is totally different from when you were there and everyone is happy and gets along wonderfully and we have alot of fun together. I am sorry that you did not fit in there and things didn't work out. I am also sorry that the first response to this was harsh. I was very taken back by the attacks and reacted poorly. I do wish you all the best and happiness. I hope we can stop this and be civil to each other. This isn't good for either of us.

Ashley Harris and Harris Heights Farm are just a joke. She is nobody in the horse world. Although she attacks Dianne, Dianne is well known and has a great reputation in the horse world.
Go to a million A shows and you will never see Ashley Harris at one. Nobody outside of Florence Mississippi has any idea who Ashley Harris is. She is a legend in her own mind! Even her grammar and spelling show her ignorance! If you want to check on her reputation, talk to the people she has worked for before her parents bought her a barn. And everyone knows about her being escorted off of her previous employers' property by the sheriff.
By the way Ashley, you do not offer a horse for SELL. It is for SALE. Use your dictionary and learn the difference!

I bought a horse named LANCE from Ashley, the horse was not sound when I first seen it, she tried to act like it was nothing, then she did admit to this fact. She told me that LANCE was never lame and that he did just have new shoes on him. I waited for the vet to come back with all the paperwork for him and when we showed back up to pick him up Ashley told us she used him for a jumping show and he was great and sound.. The weather had turned ugly and she plays that she is a nice person and honest.. but this is far from the truth..POOR LANCE looked like he lost another 200lbs since we had last seen him, and was so poor and full of fungus that I just could not believe someone would allow a horse to get so bad. She did not disclose the fact that LANCE Weaves, in the stall and in pasture at the gate, he pulls back and took out my ankle on one of his episodes. Lance also has Navicular syndrome issues in the front, he was starved, she sold him as a 9 year old and he is 12 yr old..LANCE has colick episodes every few weeks, just lays down and acts like he is going to die. LANCE also had one of the worst ear infections I had ever seen on a horse. After many phone calls back and forth with Ashley she said she would take him back.. I felt bad that LANCE had to go to that kind of home, for her to lie to someone else about him. Then ASHLEY decided not to take him back,, I am sure she knew how badly mistreated she had him that she said she would pay me half my money back, which I would use to get him help. Then of course after the first payment,, she sends no more. I am starting papers to sue her in court, and would like any body that knows anything more about her dishonest ways, or the history of the poor American Warmblood LANCE it would be great to hear from you. She needs to stop,, it was my ankle, it could of been my daughters, we were lucky, but, someone else out there could be getting these bad, lied about horses/ponies, might not be so lucky. Lets stop her from doing this to anybody else. Thanks Patty Tupelo MS
