I recieved a letter from an Alegent Health doctor that medical services had been discontinued due to my "non-compliance" of the doctor's recommended treatment. Two of the pills I take in combination throws me into a depression severe enough to bring tears then passes. I split the two medicines up and seem to get along. But this is not the doctors "recommended" treatment. Therefore due to "non-compliance" the letter I have received has terminated MY ENTIRE FAMILY from seeking Medical Services at Alegent.
Well, Alegent, Let's examine your policy on this a little farther:
One of my family members was placed on a regiment of pills by one of your doctors for a condition in the past..They were Rezulin (came with free Liver tests), taken of the market by FDA for liver failure and Propulsid (for stomach problems caused by the Rezulin), taken off the market by FDA for causing heart failure and of course the doctor recommended Advantia in combination with insulin, Red Flaged at the pharmacy.
Patient Recomendation: Use Anal Probe, recommend treatment, insert letter, if it hurts it will go away after a while, there is no scientific evidence it hurts nor has anyone complained, you would be the first.

Alegent Health relies too heavily on strange medications combos for patients. these tandem pills can be prescribed for even odder reasons on for pain relief and one to "relax" the patients. to complicate this pill refusal is almost a non option and while good doctors are there just make sure you pick the right one!
