Windy City Balloon Port They're a big scam!! Fox river grove, Illinois

After reading all the complaints after I bought the tickets I said what did I get myself into?  We bought our tickets early in March and decided to use in Sept.  They canceled concerned about weather, and we thought it was a nice day.  I went to book another day and they said they were booked but suggested another day during the week since two balloons took off.  We accepted and met at the launch site.  We went up in the balloon and everything was great.  had a nice snack tray afterwards and it was a wonderful experience.  We met a woman who was trying for seven years to go up and finally it happened.  I would say to anyone, you will get frustrated waiting for your trip, you will get mad, you will think its a scam, but they will get you up in the air.  It just takes time and patience because they really want perfect conditions and all they can go by is the weather updates.  If you are looking to go right away, I wouldnt use them.  However they do renew tickets.  I am sorry people had issues but I can only tell you in my own personal experience what happened and it was wonderful.  Don't give up.  Just don't plan it on a special occasion.  We wanted to take off during our anniversary and we couldn't.  But we ended up going later.  Just plan to fly, don't make a national event out of it and you will be OK
