I made a reservation using hotels.com. But i had to cancel my reservation outside of the cancellation period. I called them two time and was told by multiple customer service agents that i should get my on night that i was charged credited back and my reward point restored. But after 3 month of hide and seek they finally said i cancelled inside period so i will be charged one night plus i will also loose free night i earned. I used hotels.com for over tweenty hotel reservations and they wouldnt even honor the free night i accumulated. the customer service reps are some where in Mexico, so communicating in english is yet another challenge. Next time, i will make sure not to use hotels.com or its owner Expedia.
