I booked a KING size bed and got a double (TWO smaller beds...). It was just me, and I was 6.5 months pregnant at the time. I needed a larger bed. I was told by www.hotels.com staff that I would have a KING size room. I arrived to a double room. I was told that www.hotels.com reserves King size rooms, but they do not have the authority to do so. I spoke with someone at hotels.com who would only offer me a 10% discount for my stay. I was very upset. I reserved a KING size and could not get it because www.hotels.com LIES to get rooms booked. The concierge at the hotel told me that www.hotels.com does it all the time and they cannot honor the reservations because they (www.hotels.com) only has authorization to request KINGs...not fully reserve them. I have told everyone I know about www.hotels.com and their scheming ways. I will NEVER book through hotels.com
EVER again! LIARS!!!

Other details: I booked this hotel for a Master's Degree seminar in Nashville. The hotel staff was very friendly. The shuttle was very convenient and very clean and accomodating. Room service was also ordered, and I was pleased with the meal I had chosen.
