Hotwire.com Do NOT book any travel from Hotwire.com - They Are Rip Off Artists Internet

I booked a hotel from Hotwire and after reading several reviews I found out that this hotel is not only dirty, but unsafe and there are reports of police reports going to this place, people getting lice after sleeping in the beds, holes in the walls, doors that do not properly shut, patrons drunk and asleep around the exterior of the property, etc.... Basically, I could not find one good review. ALL reviews stated to STAY AWAY.. unsafe!

I called hotwire and explained that I was travelling alone with my daughter and I would like to pay extra to get a safer motel for us to stay in.

And, to make a long story short, they did NOTHING!!! I even called the motel who was willing to refund if Hotwire would get in contact with the, but Hotwire would not cooperate.

I explained my fears of going to this unsafe motel at night with a child and they couldn't have give a SHIT! Hotwire does not care about their customers -- only their money!!!! Once they have your money, that's it!!

I called hotwire several times and pleaded my case, but they were firm. I even got one of their reps "Seth" to look at the travel reviews online with me and he even agreed that he wouldn't even stay at such a shady place. But they expect a single woman with a child to stay at a place like this. They told me to show up there and call them at that time and they would see what they could do. My scheduled arrival time in this city was around 11 p.m. to midnight. What would they do??? Why would have been so hard for them to allow me to pay the EXTRA MONEY and get an upgrade.

I don't mind an older place and understand that cheaper usually means it's not up to date, but they should consider the SAFETY and HEALTH of their customers... Would you stay somewhere like this? I don't think so.

I would never, never, never recommend hotwire....
