Hotwire advertised a secret deal which the partner hotel had never heard of Bait-n-Switch Fraud, Internet

Hotwire offered a secret deal in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, near Cancun. In the offer they said that well known Chains, like Marriot, and Hilton, were like properties that were also offer as secret deals. The booking was for an all inclusive hotel, near the beach, and at a good price.

When I checked in the Hotel had never heard of the deal. I got a signed statement from the front desk that the hotel was not all inclusive. When I requested a refund from Hotwire they offered me 25 hotwire bucks for my next booking.

Hotwire is engaged in deceptive business practices to lure consumers into deals that dont not exist and then they pretend that they have no obligation process a refund. I would recommend any other internet site but Hotwire because I travel often and this is the only time I was ripped off by a big name travel site. 

Please avoid doing business with Hotwire because they are not reputable.
