I booked a 4* hotel through Hotwire on Kauai. When I got there, there were black stains all over the carpet, garbage behind the fridge, chips on all the furniture, an unclean blanket, a balcony overlooking the garbage facility and the whole thing stank. This 4* also didn't have any WiFi in the rooms; only spot to connect was one table in the lobby. This is problematic for people who needed to do business. 4-star hotels should at least have a clean floor and Internet in the rooms.

I did complain with the BBB - Hotwire offered $25 HotDollars, to be spent only when I book something with Hotwire. Like I would do that ever again!
