Trilegiant is scamming again, but now they are partnered with my bank Wells Fargo. So Wells Fargo pushes this Identiy Protection company to monitor your 3 credit bureau reports. But instead after Wells Fargo pushed me into pulling my extensive reports, Trilegiant reported incorrect made up credit info and scores to Wells Fargo Credit Card services.....then Wells Fargo Mastercard sends me a letter stating my credit limit has been shut down, after complaining and Wells Credit Card customer service admits they get reporting from there partner Trilegiant, I smell as scam!
I immediatley contacted my 3 credit reporting agencys to pull my free reports and credit scores and to my astonishment, the scores were very different as well as how Trilegiant reported to Wells Fargo my revolving credit...funny how the Triligent report combines realstate into revolving credit and my credit scores where much lower than what the actual agencies gave me.
After contacting Wells Fargo to complain and prove there partner Triligiant is not correct, Wells Fargo transferred me direclty to Triligiant to have them fix the reports, Triligiant denied the wsrong reporting and told me to call the credit bureau's...hence it's a big vicious cycle and now Wells Fargo for which I have banked with for over 25 years, shut me down on credit, will not talk to me and just transfer me to Triligiant.....I need a lawyer and are willing to sue!!!!

MY TRILEGIANT/WELLS HORROR STORY

It's been four months since I noticed $12.99 being deducted from my Wells Fargo account every month. And it's been four months and 20 phone calls to Trilegiant to get these unauthorized charges refunded. Each time I call Trilegiant they apologize and state they will put the credit through and each time i call back they have another excuse. I am speaking to supervisors. I ask for confirmation codes. And still this is going on and on and on. I've now stopped banking at Wells Fargo because obviously they are in on the joke. Why else would they partner with a company that has had class action lawsuits against it and lost to the tune of millions of dollars for consumer fraud?!!! Please Tweet Facebook about this company so more folks will beware and also get mad.

difficult to say...

I work for a company that is contracted by wells fargo to answer calls coming from the bank, with customers who are "interested" in hearing about identity theft protection and protecting their credit score.
Sometimes, I talk to people and they are truly interested and they take the service. Other times, I end up with a really unhappy customer on the phone. Telling me they've tried to cancel the service several times, promised refunds they haven't received, or they just flat don't know how they got the service in the first place. I also get calls where the customer has no idea that they're even being transferred to me. Which gets a little annoying.
For the people who call and just want this service stopped, our conversation usually goes a bit like this: They call and before I can even introduce myself I hear yelling about how they've been bounced around from one person to the next and each one says they can't help but they'll transfer them. I apologize (which it isn't even MY fault) and tell them that I wish they were in the right place but that I only work in "enrollment" but that I WILL get them to the right place. And that if they hold for me I'll introduce them to a customer service rep at trilegiant who can help them. A lot of times I end up being on hold for close to ten minutes trying to get the customer through. Occasionally the phone will disconnect when I've been waiting on someone to answer.
I have heard numerous customers call and say that when they got their reports that it wasn't even them on the reports they received or there was totally false info on them.
If this is totally legit, that people are really getting scammed then I feel awful. I think in some cases people probably aren't fully listening when they sign up for the service or they forget they have to call and cancel, but if something is supposed to be a trial offer that can be canceled anytime, then it should be just that. You shouldn't have to jump through a bunch of hoops for something that is supposed to be so easy.

Sue?

Just what grounds are you going to sue?
Even IF your convoluted story was true, guess what? A credit card can lower your limit or close your account at any time and for any reason. Why you may ask? Because in the terms of the account they reserve that right. It is THEIR money and they are granting you the privilege of using it. As a result the can remove that privilege.
