DO NOT USE 1-800-Locksmith!!!  As also reported on here by another victim, thiis company came up when I searched for a LOCAL locksmith, even had a LOCAL address listed.  I called because I broke s key in the door to my garage and nereplaced fixed. I also decided to re-key the door to the shed so that all locks in my house would use just one key. I was told there would be a $29 service call feE and that the locksmith would provide a complete estimate on site.  after examining the situation, he told me one door would cost $149 and the other $179, a little high I thought but he did say he would have to replace the whole assembly. So I was expecting to charges of about $400, which was already more than I wanted to pay I gave the go ahead. I was shocked when I was presented the final bill of $761. WHAT?!?!? He explained something about having to recut the holes and that one of the doors was hollow sI he needed to add on new plating, which actually didn't fit properly so he drilled screws from both sides, and which were too long so the end tips were left visible from the outside.  VERY SHODDY, almost ghetto rigged looking job!! He did not even bother to pick up after himself, but just left all spare discarded parts and saw dust laying around every where On the garage floor.  I was in total disbelief, but I didn't know what to do since he had "done the job" I felt I had to pay him and then take it up with his company. After expressing my dissatisfaction, I handed him a credit card.  If I didn't know it was a scam by then, I sure knew it when he said to just pay him $650 IN CASH but that's the best he could do.  The invoice he gave me had as the business Jaymer Communications Corp., 73 Greentree Dr. #16, Dover DE 19904.   It was not in the city of Asbury Park. This was supposed to be a professional licensed in NY #0754995 and NJ #34BL00000200 but he barely looked like he was 25 years old. I called the office number to register a formal complaint about the job and was told the owner would call me back....Nothing.  As a victim of this scam, I say DO NIT USE 1-800-Locksmith.  Their work sucks and its a total rip-off!
