A Star Travel 30 MINUTE Phone Scam Very pushy, conference call like scam from over excited strongly accented american man and woman ripoff Tampa Florida

Got a call on my cell phone from a woman that had rung me before and asked to speak to my partner, I told her that he was at work and she started to rattle off telling me that my partner had entered us into a competition and had won a trip for the family to america sponsored by disney land and universal pictures etc. She rang my partner at work and takled to us both about this AMAZING trip that we had won and what it entaled. She kept asking us if we were excited and she wanted to hear our excitement in our voices, she then passed us over to a man and he went through the same thing over and over taking about going on a complimentry cruise and going to Vegas.

He sounded very experienced and truthful, using my children as a push for it and how much they would love going to the fun parks. and because we had a 2yr old they would give us a 12 month extension so we could wait until she was three before we had to use our winnings.

He push and pushed until I gave him my credit card number, although I think he already had it. I told him that there was no funds on my credit card as I had maxed it out, he told me there could be a 60 day wait and they would call me back and also send out the information pack outlining all the travel details.
After getting off the phone with them I rang the bank to tell them what had happened and could they put a hold on my maxed out credit card.

I emailed Astarholidays today telling them I didn't want them to have authority to use my credit card( what the bank told me to do because then they could claim the money back if any was taken from the credit card if they had it in writing that I had taken back authority.)
I got an email back from them saying that they do not keep the credit card number and that if there is no available funds on the card that they cant take any money out.

WHATEVER! We will see
