AARONS SALES AND LEASING RIPOFF RASCIAL DISCRIMINATION NORTH CHARLESTON South Carolina

while an employee of aaron sales and leasing, i experienced some bad ordeals. i am african american. i was the best performer in the region. i met my numbers and goals at the end of the week or by the end of saturday.

in the beginning, everything went smooth, it was fun to work there. several months went by, same old same. the company was opening a new store and no blacks were considered. instead they hired a fry cook from a restaurant whom had no experience in sales, nor collections. the issue came up again and the same incident happened, they promoted a sales manager whom had just been with the company for 4 months. no matter what no blacks could get promoted to gm, this is an ongoing situation at aarons. this company doesn't hire black sales managers nor blacks in their collections departments. if any of the stores employ blacks, none will advance to general manager. there are rascist in the company. i have been told even by regionals at the time that black applicants aplications are shredded or thrown away. the north charleston store is all white except for the product techs..

if blacks can't advance, then why should black consumers shop at aarons sales and leasing. there are many rascist incidents about aarons concerning blacks in south carolina. aarons should pull out.
