ADAM MAYER - A Name used for Fraud or maybe a real con-artist?

'Adam Mayer' contactes women on dating websites and other free social networks. He introduces himself of being a charming guy with the following text:

I want someone to charish me...unconditionally!!! I have not arrived nor do I think I ever will. Life is a journey and I am enjoying every minute of it. This text he used on every social network and dating website as a profile introduction. Pictures for all his profiles are the same and used from a modeling website called TMG: http://www.talentmg.com/male_models/steve_burchett

Once he sent his first E-mail to potential unknown victims,some victims fall for him and get caught into a very harmful untruthful experience filled with Lies, Pressure, Blackmailing and worst of all Death Threats.

The same day, when a potential victim replies to his introduction, he asks to continue the chat on any other free webmail providing messengers...i.e. Yahoo, MSN....

Last year on the beginning of August 2007 contacted me a man online via the website myspace. com. He wrote a nice introduction about himself, the picture of him seemed niceso I replied and it began that we chatted online first on MSN, later on Yahoo via messenger.

The Person I am talking about is called Adam (Neil) Mayer. He said he is a US federal agent from Fort Lauderdale/Forida.

I have a crime reference number from the London Metropolitan police, as it is reported there. Please at least make other people aware about Adam Mayer!!!

On the 6th of August 2007 he told me about himself via the msn messenger that he was working in the IT Department for a Federal Agency in Nigeria investigating against corrupt Nigerian Ex-Gov. here is what he wrote:

Well.later in October I have sent some Ralph Lauren Polo shirts to Nigeria.as Adam wanted to give those as gifts to some of his co-workers and he was going to pay me back, when he would arrive in the UK. I bought the polo's in Portsmouth as due to my IT job that time I had to travel a lot and I have been every week in a different town.so I shipped the polo's via FEDEX from Machester to Lagos in Nigeria to this address:

Adam then ask me to send him money via Western Union, which I did. See attached my total loss. He said he was not able to pay his co-workers and he was going to pay me back, when he is in the UK. He has given me another address, which I should use for the Western Union Transfers.:

He contacted me as well via his cell phone in texting and I have all texts still saved (about 170)his cell phone number is:

He then ask me to look for a flat / an Apartment for us in Manchester and he told me that he was going to come for Christmas see our Yahoo chatthen on the 6th of December arrived a cheque with a balance of GBP 3250. Adam ask me to cash the cheque in and to keep GBP 1250 to myself and to transfer the remaining amount via Western Union to him. In order to be able to pay the deposit of the flat in Manchester, which I really rented in believe Adam will be arriving, I ask my bank for an pre-Overdraft of GBP 600 in good believe the cheque would clear. Then I moved the following weekend to Manchester. On Tuesday arrived a letter from my bank saying the cheque was suspected fraudulent counterfeit and I have been charged with overdraft fees since, as I could not pay back the balance of GBP 600, due to the cheque.

I had to move out of this flat and left to go to Germany. A car accident on my way to Germany has given me the loss of my car.

Adam stopped the contact from the 9th of December. Then I started a new job with my new Canadian company in Vancouver on the 5th of January. They invited me to come to Vancouver and whilst I was thereAdam contacted me again on the 7th of Januarysaying he was sorry.

As you can read in the chat text from Yahoohe told me he was in danger and needed money to leave Nigeria. Then I transferred again via Western Unionalmost everything of my SalaryI just kept about GBP 100 for myself. When I did not answered his texts or chats right away, he pushed me and called my mobile phone and left me missed calls.

Over Easter he was meant to arrive in the UK. He said he was going to come with Virgin Atlantic Airline at 4 pm to London Heathrow Terminal 3. So I was waiting there 3 hours but no Adam. Then he was contacting me online saying he was cut and he has to pay a fee to an attorney general who was going to call me. This attorney was called "David Sabrosa" his phone number is: 0023 4 121 37 440. David Sabrosa called me Easter Monday evening at 11.30 pm UK time. I went the next day to London and reported everything to the London Metropolitan police and got a crime reference number. Whilst I was at the police station "David Sabrosa" called me again on my cell phone and one police officer spoke to him and told him not to call me anymore. He didn't call me again since.

I meanwhile lost my job and as I have spent my whole salary in "Adam" I have had little to live on. I know I was very gulliable.

Adam contacted me againsee the chat continuing via Yahoo.

He also said his job is a secret job and therefore he cannot expect help from his Government.
