what is on the written contract matters

AUTHOR: Gordon - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, April 04, 2003

i am a former sales rep with alltel, and i can tell you that the only thing that matters is what is on your written contract. i ran across numerous situations where the two did not match. the problem lies in setting up the account in the computer. the type of system used in my area had the contract length defaulted at 24 months. in a high traffic store, or simply dealing with a bored and indifferent rep on the phone, it can be overlooked. the sales rep does NOT benefit from a two year contract, alltel does.

if your written contract says 12 months, the contract is 12 months. no matter what the computer says.
